Mother’s Day
This is actually the 3rd time I’ve done the full gift, but I’ve realized I’ve never posted the full gift to get the holistic picture. I thought this was the year to bite the bullet and give a full preview. The dates are fun and easy to come up with, it’s actually doing them that can be hard!
I had to switch it up this year, and disguise the presentation so I could adequately surprise Jacob. Carve pumpkins, make hot apple cider or hot chocolate. Decorate eggs, make an Easter bunny cake, or start a garden together.
We usually go out for breakfast after dropping off the kids to kick off our date days. This date was a group lesson on how to prepare a multi-course dish. It was like an interactive Food Network show where we actually got to eat the food at the end. I loved experiencing new recipes and techniques with my husband and sharing a gourmet meal with our classmates. Along with some juicy love coupons, this will be my gift for hubby this year! I think it’s something we’ll both enjoy enormously.
This is the gift that keeps couples laughing, trying new things and making memories together. Everyone has busy lives and the dates are here to help them spend quality time doing things they might not have thought of otherwise. We have to plan way in advance to get a group of our friends to all have babysitters on the same night. When the stars align for a group date, we love to go play an escape room date. Even without friends, using clues to solve a mystery during the allotted game time with your spouse is a great date.
