Having a service option which runs in background would be ideal. You can still have the UI to update the settings which Service will pick it up. It isn't really working but worked once I switched wifi networks even tho google home is on the 5ghz but my phone was on the 2.4ghz . When they were on the same network 5ghz it didn't work. I would like to ask for a trigger in the app so that we can test if azan will work or not without waiting for the azan time. This will allow to proactively trouble shoot.
